Who we are
Simon Langton Brass is a community brass band based in Canterbury, Kent. For questions about information you have shared with us, please contact simonlangtonband@gmail.com.
Information we collect
When you contact us or complete a booking enquiry, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, proposed event details, venue, musical preferences and any information you include in your message. We may also receive information you send when enquiring about joining the band or giving us feedback.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, discuss possible performances or membership, make arrangements you request and keep a record of relevant communications. We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information through our booking form.
Our booking enquiry form
Our online booking enquiries are collected through Wix Forms, a service provided by Wix. Submissions are recorded in the website’s Wix Forms system so authorised people managing the band’s enquiries can review and respond to them. Completing an enquiry does not confirm a booking. Sharing and security
We use service providers, including Wix and email services, to help operate the website and manage enquiries. We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with relevant band organisers where needed to respond to or arrange your event. We aim to limit access to people who need it for those purposes.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage arrangements and meet any applicable record-keeping obligations. We review information that is no longer required. We have not stated a fixed retention period here because that depends on the type of enquiry and any resulting arrangements.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us about the personal information we hold about you, request corrections or deletion where applicable, or raise a concern about how it is handled.
